Twitterati Declares Jayaa Dead

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has been under treatment for quite a while and now rumours are rife that Jayalalithaa is dead. Three doctors from AIIMS, New Delhi were called to Chennai for her treatment at the Apollo hospital and the latest we hear is that she was on the ventilator.

The chief minister was admitted on 22nd September and there was a strange secrecy regarding her ailment. With limited visitors and no clear information about her health, the social media users’ speculations range from “#Jayalalithaa is dead. Official confirmation will be made in the morning” by a twitter user to another user stating, “Closest sources in Apollo say that Jayalalitha is under ventilatory support and inotropes”

With fake photographs that put weight to the rumours, some ridiculous tweets state, “Jayalalithaa has become Shrödinger’s cat. The question now is, is she alive, or dead, or both?..” Most twitterati suggest that she is, in fact, dead and the official confirmation will come soon according to their sources.
