TV and cinema personalities like Hyper Aadhi, Getup Srinu, Sudigali Sudheer, and choreographer Jaani Master are actively supporting Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s election campaign in Pithapuram, where he’s contesting in the upcoming Andhra Pradesh general elections.
Recently, actor Varun Tej visited Pithapuram to campaign for his uncle. Vaishnav Tej also joined the campaign, conducting special prayers for Pawan Kalyan’s success.
There’s speculation that actor Ram Charan might also join the campaign, although it’s not confirmed yet.
However, Kakinada sitting MP and YCP Pithapuram MLA candidate, Vanga Geetha, accused Janasena of disrupting peace in Pithapuram. She questioned why Pawan Kalyan is bringing in small-time cinema artists for his campaign if he’s confident of winning by a large margin of 1 lakh votes.
She continued, “Half of the cinema artists in Hyderabad are roaming in Pithapuram. He calls himself Powerstar, then why does he need the support of these poor cinema artists coming from outside?”
YCP supporters are targeting Pawan Kalyan, suggesting that Geetha’s remarks indicate Pawan Kalyan understands Vanga Geetha’s power in Pithapuram.
But the word on the ground is that Pawan Kalyan will achieve a resounding victory as he has entrusted the task to the strong local TDP Varma, and people are also upset with the way YSR Congress leaders have bad-mouthed PK over the years.
