Amidst the cheers and blessings of the five-crore Andhra people, Nara Chandrababu Naidu took oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Along with Babu, his 24 cabinet ministers have also taken their oaths at the ceremony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Health Minister JP Nadda and various other prominent political and film personalities have attended this historic event.

Chandrababu’s swearing-in ceremony was an emotional moment for his family, especially for his wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari. She was present at the event, along with Naidu.

A video of Nandamuri Balakrishna, kissing his sister, ahead of the oath-taking ceremony, proved to be one of the emotional moments of today’s event.

Today happens to be an emotional day for Bhuvaneshwari. She had undergone a lot of insults and agony over the past five years. The rival YCP party members personally attacked her with their derogatory words.

When Naidu was arrested last year, she had to enter the political space on the ground for the first time. She fought hard for justice and also went on “Nijam Gelavali Yatra”, to console people who lost their lives after Naidu’s arrest.

All her hard work paid off and her husband created history today by swearing-in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
