YSR Congress President and Leader of Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is a successful businessman. He is now trying to mix politics and business. The young leader is going to bring his corporate structure in to the party by appointing Managers and Deputy Managers for each of the district YSR Congress parties. This idea is the brain child of YSR Congress’ recently appointed Chief Secretary, Vijaya Sai Reddy and these managers will be working under him.
These managers will be scrutinizing every work related to the party in the district and send reports to the party high command about it. The party do not have a district head quarters currently in Krishna, Kurnool and Prakasam districts but managers are being appointed to those districts too and they will be operating from temporary establishments.
However this idea seem to be not at all working with the leaders of the party. One leader from East Godavari said to us, “Along with the sitting MLAs and MPs, there are leaders who are Ex-MLAs, Ex-MPs, there are leaders as well who are more than 20-30 years political experience. And they (Party high command) expect us to report to a manager. This micromanaging thing will not work. We will stop going to the party office if they are trying to dictate things like this”.
