It looks like it is more or less confirmed that TDP and Janasena will be contesting the 2024 elections together. It will be interesting to see how the seat-sharing pans out.
As things stand out, seat-sharing may face a problem in the Vijayawada Central seat.
Bonda Uma is the candidate for TDP here. He lost the election in 2019 with just 25 votes.
He will be a natural choice here. But there are reports that his brother Bonda Srinu is joining Janasena here.
He was previously with Congress and Praja Rajyam party here but could not get a ticket from both parties.
Rumors are that Janasena has promised him a seat and he will be joining the party soon.
Vijayawada Central has a good Kapu population and if Pawan Kalyan seeks this seat, there will be a deadlock-like situation with TDP finding it tough to leave out a senior leader’s seat.
One of the parties should sacrifice for a bigger cause.
