The Andhra Pradesh state officials are busy giving final touches to the Irrigation building in Governorpet which will become the Camp Office of the state Chief Minister in Vijayawada. The renovation works according to the CM’s needs are going on at a brisk pace and are scheduled to be completed by March end.
A team of police officials from Hyderabad have completed audit of the security of the place. The security is already beefed up there even before CM relocated there. Citing security reasons, some of the wings of the Irrigation Department building are already moved to other places.
The Chief Minister is expected to spend at least three days in a week in the camp office here from April on wards. The CM asked for this arrangement to stay close to the capital and supervise the capital construction personally. The irrigation Minister Devineni Uma is already operating from a camp office in the Irrigation Building.
