Chandrababu Naidu Mass Statement in Davos

Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu has claimed that it was India that was providing technology to the world. He was replying to a query by a scribe who asked what technology he was taking back from Davos. The statement has now turned viral even as Babu and his team are headed back to India.

He further added PM Modi has laid a strong foundation for technology in India. Babu was part of a press interaction along with union minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, other union ministers, ministers of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Telangana among others.

Babu said the world was now looking at India. The country was looking at generating green hydrogen which was garnering interest. He pointed out all tech CEOs were mostly from India.

India’s huge population and its highly skilled youth are contributing to the world, said Babu. Indians were amicable to countries across the world, he said.

Babu said India was sprinting ahead and Bloomberg Analytics had predicted that India’s GDP will be among that of top nations. There will be no looking back, said an obviously excited Babu. Today, I see all of India on one stage though we hail from different political parties. ‘India first – Our people first’ is our motto, Babu proclaimed.

He said he was the senior most as far as India was concerned at Davos. He said over the years, he has seen competition grow among fellow states.

We are all for Viksit Bharat, said the AP CM. India is looking at 550 gigawatt renewable energy, while AP is looking at 165 gigawatt power generation, he told.

Today India leads in various areas and I thank PM Modi for sending his best team, added Babu.

Maharashtra and Telangana are way ahead of AP. But we are trying our best to catch up, Babu told media.

Telangana minister Sridhar Babu took the opportunity to praise Babu for upgrading to latest technologies, while AP minister Nara Lokesh said the coming 25 years belonged to India.
