The Andhra Pradesh Assembly Session had a fiery start as expected. Telugu Desam Party and YSR Congress Rebel MLAs protested against Chandrababu Naidu’s illegal arrest. They demanded the house to take up the issue immediately for discussion but the treasury benches are not keen.
Alleging that the Government is selectively giving live of TDP members’ protests and not showing the provoking members of the YSR Congress, some TDP leaders tried to shoot the visuals using their mobile phones.
Minister Ushasri Charan complained about it to Speaker Tammineni Sriram.
The Speaker lost his cool and was caught on camera calling some TDP member ‘Useless Fellow’.
This has happened multiple times and the video of that has gone viral on social media.
There is widespread criticism from the General Public for the Speaker losing his cool and being partial while the position expects him to be neutral.
In another instance, Tammineni is referring to YSR Congress MLAs as Manavallu which is another violation. The video of the Speaker’s Tongue Slip has gone viral on social.
But then, this is not something first time for Tammineni. He almost got caught doing similarly in every session during his tenure.
Meanwhile, the Speaker has suspended fourteen TDP MLAs and Two YSR Congress Rebel MLAs from the house. While MLAs – Sridhar Reddy, Anagani Satya Prasad, and Payyavula Keshav were suspended for the whole session, the rest of the MLAs were suspended for the day.
