MAUD Minister Narayana has shared that the government is planning to start Vizag Metro works from October. Double decker model is being planned and the DPR is ready, said the Minister.
The Minister directed the officials to make sure the works of Bhogapuram airport are completed by April next year. Narayana held a review meeting regarding the development of North Andhra with Speaker Atchannaidu, Minister Kondapalli Srinivas, mayor Peela Srinivasa Rao, VMRDA chairman Pranavgopal and other officials in VMRDA office.

Narayana addressed the media following the meeting. He said 15 highways were being readied to connect with Bhogapuram airport. In 2014-19, we decided to build 7 lakh Tidco houses.
He said the past government could not complete even 2 lakh houses. We will deliver the houses by Dassera, he said. Rs 834 crore works are being completed under Amrut scheme, the Minister said.

Narayana also reviewed VMRDA master plan, Vizag-Kakinada petro chemical and petro chemicals investment region, VMRDA masterplan on merged districts. He also reviewed MIG layout, new layouts and semi ring road from Anakapalli to Bhogapuram through Vizag district.
