M9 News Journalist Nishant sat with Producer Bunny Vas ahead of his Birthday on 11th June (Tomorrow).

Bunny Vas has floated a new banner, ‘BV Works’, and has announced a new project, Mithramandali. We asked him if this means severing ties with Geetha Arts.

We had a lengthy discussion about why Pawan Kalyan became serious about the theater strike.

“Someone from the industry sent screenshots of Andhra Exhibitors Group talking about stopping Hari Hara Veeramallu. He became serious about it,” Bunny Vas said.

He also explained how some exhibitors planned another meeting to continue the Strike even after the Chamber announced there would not be one.

“From there, the issue flared up. Pawan Kalyan is not misled. He acted upon the information he had,” Bunny Vas said.

We also had a detailed discussion about the ongoing issues in the industry, about his Tweets, etc.

“I don’t expect anything in the industry to change. At times, I feel bad about what is happening, and Tweets are the only way of venting out my frustration,” Bunny Vas explained.

He also explained the criticism that Bunny Vas is a hypocrite, criticizing 28 28-day OTT window while releasing his own films in the same model.

He also revealed how he told Allu Arjun as well the importance of doing more films.
