We Will Stand by AP in Special Status – Kavitha

Andhra Pradesh had received support to its Special Status fight from unexpected quarters. TRS MP from Nizamabad, KCR’s daughter, Kavitha extended her and her state government’s support in Special Status issue. “Special Status is a Promise made by the then Prime Minister in Parliament,” said Kavitha to media.

The TRS MP was in Anasagaram of Krishna district. She added, “It is the government’s responsibility to fulfill the promise of the then Prime Minister. If Special Status is not possible technically, a Political decision should be taken”. She added that they will be supporting Andhra Pradesh on this issue.

It is already known that TRS Party had extended its support on this issue in Rajya Sabha during the short duration discussion taken up over the implementation of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act. But then, Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley has maintained that neighbouring state governments including Telangana are objecting for the Special status to AP.
