Telugu Desam – Janasena – BJP alliance has scripted history in Andhra Pradesh by winning nearly 90% of the assembly constituencies in the state. The alliance didn’t just break the fortresses of YCP, TDP captured six assembly constituencies that it had never won since delimitation(newly divided constituencies based on population).

The six constituencies are Puthapalattu, Rajam, Rampachodavaram, Srisailam, Nellore City, and Nellore Rural.

These constituencies were never captured by TDP since their emergence i.e., since the elimination that was enforced in 2009. The party has now raised its flags here and started a new history.

Not just that, TDP even captured Kodumur and Mangalagiri which were never won by the party since the 1985 election.
