kcr-arrogance-depression

The Telangana Assembly election results in December last year were nothing short of a massive shock. People have voted for the Congress the party everyone presumed to be dead. The results have shocked KCR and the BRS rank and file even more.

KCR is in an illusion that he is going to be omnipotent after he thought he successfully killed TDP and Congress in the state.

The defeat came as a shock because the BRS thought there was a small threat from the BJP but there is no chance for Congress.

The Assembly elections defeat and the subsequent washout in the Parliament elections ensured the speculations that BRS may get merged into the BJP sooner or later.

BRS needs the moral support of KCR to come out of this crisis.

But then, the Former Chief Minister is confined only to his Farmhouse after the defeat. Except for a day, he did not even attend the Assembly sessions in this term.

No leader can actually meet the BRS Chief until he thinks it is time to give some footage to the media. We have seen it happen only 3-4 times in this nine months time.

But why is KCR keeping away from the Public glare?

Is he depressed with these results?

KCR is always known for being arrogant. In Opposition, he always confined himself to the Farmhouse despite severe criticism and would only come out when it is most needed. After losing power, he came out only for the Parliament elections campaign.

KCR believed that he is the father of Telangana and would endlessly rule the state. He always thought his opponents were untouchables and were not even comparable.

He looked down on Revanth Reddy even more and could not digest the fact he was the Chief Minister now and had to address him with respect.

For the most part of his two tenures, KCR did not even take Revanth Reddy’s name.

Whatever may be the reason, KCR’s absence is hurting the BRS.

KTR and Harish Rao are trying to fill the void created by KCR. KTR was very effective as Number Two while the BRS was in power but it is not working now.

Harish Rao is also the same. In the issues, both leaders are taking, it only appears that they are restless and want power at any cost

But the fact is the five years do not end today or tomorrow just because they are in a hurry.

Even if they are making sense, it is sending a feeler to the people that the second-rung leadership is taking while the actual leader (KCR) is resting somewhere.

If BRS should stand any chance, it is high time KCR rolls up his sleeves.

Meanwhile, there are reports that KCR sent teams to other states to study how Regional Parties are surviving after losing power.

BRS planted this news to create a feeling that something is happening. But that is a blot on the big claims of KCR’s experience and reading One Lakh Books.
