Why Can’t You Be Proactive Like Naidu?, Maha CM Questioned

The search for the missing Indian Air Force (IAF) AN-32 plane is still on much to the distress of the families of those on board. The other day, Maharashtra CM Devender Fadnavis called on one of those in the plane, Kunal Barpatte’s family in Pune. However, the family is furious with the Chief Minister who just gave them information about search operation and did not instill any confidence.

“The CM found time only three days after the Incident. If it takes three days for our CM to make the effort to call us, it is of no use. He did not even show any sympathy. Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu went the very next day to meet the families of employees of the Naval Armament Depot (NAD) who were also aboard the aircraft,” Barpatte’s family members reminded

“If Naidu can show such quick action and empathize with the seriousness of the situation, why does our Chief Minister take three days to react and contact us? Even his officials could not reach out to us. This is sheer insensitivity and Fadnavis should learn to be proactive and sensitive like Naidu,” they added.
