Why did OU students go against KCR?

Osmania University Students have been a strength to Telangana movement and Telangana Rashtra Samiti for a long time but on Sunday, TRS President K.Chandra Sekhar Rao faced the heat of OU students in Lalapeta and he had to go back from there canceling his public meeting from there. The problem is KCR’s announcement of regularizing contract employees’ jobs across the Telangana is TRS forms the government.

Unemployment is one of the driving forces of students in to Telangana movement. There are more than four and half lakh contract employees across Telangana. Regularizing all of them in to full time employees will mean new jobs will not be available for unemployed youth in Telangana at least for the next five years. Most Government jobs have age limit criteria for application. So losing this five years will be costly for unemployed youth. So, OU students are fuming hard on KCR’s announcement.
