Why Vijayamma Met Hindu Siddhanti?

Everyone knows that Vijayamma, the wife of YS Rajashekar Reddy, is a strong follower of Christianity. She always had a Bible in her hands wherever she went, making it evident that she believed in Christianity. Of Course!! This may have been one of the reasons for her defeat in Vishakapatnam in the 2014 elections.

Now, she is concerned about her daughter YS Sharmila’s political future. It’s known that YSRTP is contesting the Telangana elections on its own after failing to merge with the Congress. YS Vijayalakshmi had a meeting with a prominent Siddhanti in Ongole on Friday.

Upon her arrival in Ongole in the afternoon, she first visited the house of former TTD Chairman YV Subbareddy and met with his ailing mother. Later, she met Siddhanti Addepalli Hanumantha Rao at his residence. It appears that he conducted a special pooja at the shrine of Goddess Rajarajeshwari at his house for about three hours.

During this visit, Vijayamma inquired about the auspicious time for issuing B-forms to the candidates of the YSR Telangana Party under the leadership of her daughter Sharmila. Sharmila also discussed her political future with Siddhanti.

In the past, Vijayalakshmi used to visit Ongole and consult with Siddhanthi Hanumantha Rao about the political landscape before each election. This is why her meeting with the Siddhanti on Friday was significant.
