Will Kotla Medicine Treat YSR Congress?

Former Kurnool MP Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy is almost confirmed to join YSR Congress, sources say. Kotla’s followers have joined YSR Congress previously and Several MLAs of YSR Congress have already joined the Ruling Party. That ensured the necessity for both the sides. Kotla is recently appreciating Jagan’s fight for Special Status and it reveals the Senior Politician’s intent.

Kotla is aghast with Congress for insulting him in the Anantapur tour of Rahul Gandhi a few months ago. Kotla was not even called on to the stage that day. Kotla is the son of former Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh and the former Union Minister thinks YSR Congress as right platform for his anti-TDP stance.

But the it has to be seen how far this move can help YSR Congress in Kurnool. YSR Congress had lost 20 of its MLAs before the Rajya Sabha elections earlier this year. Jaga despite putting up a brave fight against the government could not make a mark on the people. We will have to see if Kotla’s inclusion will make any difference?
