Will Modi Take a Cue from Andhra Octopus Advice?

Lagadapati Rajagopal, the former Vijayawada MP is often called as ‘Andhra Octopus’ for his exact survey of election results. Rajagopal disassociated himself with Congress after the state bifurcation and became politically neutral. He did not even contest the 2014 elections. Suddenly, Lagadapati is back into the news with this Special Status bifurcation.

“Special Status is committed in Parliament and there is no way BJP can now escape. It will happen for sure but it is difficult to say at this point in which form it will happen. BJP will benefit with the grant of SCS. It has to be seen who will convince them in doing that,” Rajagopal said.

Lagapati is known to be a man who is very well aware of political calculations. It has to be seen if Modi will take the message from the advice of the Andhra Octopus. Lagadapati also said that Congress is a gone case and can not fight for Special Status. It is up to TDP and YSR Congress MPs to unite and fight.
