Women leaders struggling in YSR Congress

YSR Congress Araku MP Kothapalli Geetha has alleged that women leaders are feeling very uncomfortable in the party. “There is no respect at all for women in the party. We are feeling very uncomfortable. Many women leaders will leave the party very soon”, Geetha said. Geetha alleged that she is facing lot of problems within the party and is even not being informed about the party programs in her constituency.

Geetha who was formerly a Revenue official recently met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu. A day before meeting the CM, Geetha even had a meeting with TDP Senior leader and Minister Ayyanna Pathrudu in Vishakapatnam. However she did not give any clarity if she is going to join TDP. However the ruling party sources say she will be working with TDP but remain in YSR Congress to escape the anti-defection law.
