Yanamala To Field Daughter From Prathipadu?

Telugu Desam Party Veteran Leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu. He has been MLA from Tuni for six elections on a trot from 1983 to 2004. Rama Krishnudu became MLC after the 2009 elections loss.

His brother Krishnudu tried his luck in the next two elections and lost both elections. Ramakrishnudu is now thinking along the lines of bringing his daughter into active politics.

She is likely to be the candidate from the Prathipadu constituency.

Parvatha Prasad won as the MLA from Prathipadu on the YSR Congress ticket in the 2019 elections.

But the performance of the MLA has been poor and Jagan is going to deny him a ticket in the 2024 elections.

Yadav community is in majority in Routhulapudi and Shankavaram mandals of the constituency. YSR Congress is also likely to field a Yadav candidate to counter Yanamala’s daughter.

Yanamala who lost hold on Tuni is keen on stamping his authority by winning Prathipadu. In such a case, TDP may give Tuni to some one out of Yanamala’s family.
