The potential defections of YSRCP MPs Laavu Srikrishnadevarayulu and Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy to TDP have prompted a reassessment of political strategies in the Nellore and Palnadu regions. The anticipated moves have led TDP President Chandrababu Naidu to reconsider political alignments in various Assembly segments in these areas.

Yerapathinenni Srinivas, who was expected by some to join YSRCP, is reportedly prepared to contest from Gurajala as a TDP candidate. Despite facing legal challenges over the past five years, Yerapathinenni has remained with TDP, and his potential move to Narsaraopet Assembly is being considered as a response to YSRCP’s fielding of Anil Kumar Yadav, a BC leader, in the Narsaraopet Parliament constituency.

Now CBN is in thought to counter it by moving Yerapathineni to Narsaraopet Assembly and YSRCP BC leader Jenga Krishnamurthy palced in Gurajala in place of Yerapathineni. Jenga resigned to YSRCP when Jagan deny to give Gurajala ticket.

In Nellore, Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy is expected to join TDP soon, and party leaders have extended an invitation to him. Sources suggest that Vemireddy’s wife is also interested in contesting for an Assembly seat, with preferences for either Sarvepalli or Kovur.

The potential entry of Vemireddy’s wife into politics could lead to a shift in candidates, with TDP aiming to make strategic changes based on survey results. If the defections and realignments take place as anticipated, it could result in a reshuffling of key candidates in various constituencies, creating an interesting and dynamic political landscape in these regions.
