Yet another rail accident kills two!

Looks like the lives of passengers traveling on trains are becoming fragile. We have seen good number of accidents there and here is one more on late night of Friday. Duronto Express going from Secunderabad to Mumbai got derailed Shahabad Railway Station in Karnataka.

Nine bogies got derailed killing two and injuring several others. Rescue operations are being carried out. The trains in that route are partially diverted as rail traffic got severely affected due to this accident.

Several trains are running late as a result. Railway Ministry had ordered an inquiry in to the accident. The multiple accidents these days underlines the fact safety standards should go along with the modernization for Railways to usher.
