YS Jagan Suspends 4 MLAs

The chief minister of AP, and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was served an unexpected shock by the TDP in the MLA-elected MLC elections. TDP’s Anuradha won the MLC seat by polling 23 MLA votes against the odds.

As an after-effect, the chief minister YS Jagan has taken affirmative action against not one or two, but 4 of his party MLAs.

YSRCP spokesman, Sajjala RamaKrishna Reddy briefed the media about the MLC elections.

“The party’s internal affairs and polling trends were analysed. We are convinced that four of our MLAs have taken part in cross voting. As a result, Jagan has decided to suspend all four of them.”

Sajjala stated that Undavalli Sridevi, Mekapati Chandrasekhar Reddy, Anam Ramnayarana Reddy, and Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy are all suspended from the party effective immediately.

There are reports that the YCP followed a sequence system to identify the cross voters and thus found out the MLAs who voted for TDP candidate.

This has also led to a talk on social media that YCP is unable to convince its own MLAs to vote for their party and how they can expect the public of Andhra Pradesh to be convinced to vote for them in next election.
