Jagan Treads Carefully on Jump Jilanis

Main Opposition Party, YSR Congress is seeing a mass exodus of TDP leaders in the last few days. Two MLAs and One MP have already joined the party and there are rumours about more leaders joining the party very soon. Interestingly, most of the leaders coming from TDP are in news about a possible party shift for quite some time now.

Jagan had intentionally delayed the joinings and timed them in a way so as to hit the morale of the Ruling Party. Even for that Jagan is treading carefully. He is admitting the leaders only if there is a vacancy in the party in those constituencies. He is completely neutralizing the local leaders of YSR Congress before admitting the leaders.

On the other side, it is emerging that Jagan has set the deadline of February 28th for the Jump Jilanis. Jagan is not in favour of admitting other party leaders after that since leaders coming in the last minute will not get time to work in the constituencies. On the other side, TDP is not very much about this influx into YSR Congress.

Except for Amanchi Krishna Mohan to some extent, TDP believes that no other leader who left the party are worth an election this time. Media has become over-enthusiastic and as a result, more and more names are coming up in the list. This is creating confusion in TDP cadre and they are worried if these rumours will create Public Perception against the Party.
