Vijayamma To Contest From Telangana

Late YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s wife, YS Vijayalakshmi stepped down as YSR Congress party’s honorary President and announced supporting Sharmila’s party in Telangana.

Sources say that she will be elected as YSRTP’s honorary president very soon.

A meeting will happen with the party seniors very soon and the issue will be discussed. An official announcement will be made thereafter.
Vijayamma will kickstart a statewide tour with Sharmila in Telangana.

Sharmila is doing a Padayatra in Telangana but is struggling to make an impact.

She believes Vijayamma will do the trick for the party as the widow of Rajasekhar Reddy.

Sources say that Sharmila is planning to have Vijayamma contest as well in the 2023 elections.

Sharmila already announced contesting from the Paleru constituency in the Khammam district.

Vijayamma will contest from another district and hopes Vijayamma contesting will influence the party’s prospects in that district.
