YSR Congress Desperate for Special Status Credit

The main opposition party, YSR Congress seem to be in a hurry to be a leader in Special Status race. The party is startled by Congress grabbing attention of the people using the issue and entered the race now. The party the other day decided to put up a private member bill in Lok Sabha on the same issue.

Now they are planning to approach the court as well on the issue. This was revealed by the party’s lone Rajya Sabha MP and Jagan’s loyalist, Vijaya Sai Reddy. He went on to say that YSR Congress is the only party committed to the Special Status issue. He went on to say BJP and TDP will not allow the bill to come up for voting.

He even alleged that Congress would want the voting to be delayed as much as possible so keep the issue burning so that they can grab maximum mileage from it. Vijaya Sai Reddy went on to say that Courts will not ask for Special Status in the bill and the announcement of the then Prime Minister is enough.
