YSR Congress MP Extends Support To Congress!

The by-election of the Telangana Legislative Council from the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda graduates’ constituency will be held on May 27.

As the previous MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy was elected as MLA from Jangoan last year, by-elections for the MLC post are being held for this constituency.

While BRS fielded Rakesh Reddy for this seat, the ruling Congress party gave the ticket to Chintapandu Naveen aka Teenmaar Mallanna. On the other side, the BJP has fielded Permender Reddy in the elections.

A total of 52 candidates are competing in this by-poll but the contest will be between the mentioned candidates from the three major parties.

Meanwhile, Congress has now got support from the YCP Rajya Sabha MP and BC Welfare Association’s national president R. Krishnayya.

Extending his support to Teenmaar Mallanna, Krishnayya praised Mallanna as someone with the ability to fight for people regardless of political parties and castes.

While YCP and Congress emerged as arch-rivals in Andhra Pradesh during these elections, Krishnayya’s support for Mallanna has garnered significant attention.

It remains to be seen how the YCP high command will react to Krishnayya’s decision to support Teenmaar Mallanna.
