YSR Congress Still Clueless in West?

Former Minister Kotagiri Vidhyadhara Rao’s son Sridhar joined YSR Congress a few days ago and was appointed as Eluru Parliament Incharge. Vidyadhara Rao worked as Minister in Chandrababu Naidu‘s cabinet for 10 years. The Senior most leader in TDP suddenly shocked everyone by joining Praja Rajyam Party before 2009 elections.

He contested in 2009 elections on PRP ticket and lost miserably. Subsequently, he became politically irrelevant with Praja Rajyam downfall until he passed away. Political observers say that his joining is unlikely to help YSR Congress in any way.

Sridhar was previously in BJP. He is politically so weak that he can not sustain as an MLA and now Jagan has put him up as a candidate for an MP segment. This only indicates that YSR Congress did not improve a bit in West Godavari after that very bad drubbing in 2014 elections where they failed to win even a single seat in the entire district
