There’s already an open rebellion against Jagan in YCP. Several of the party MLAs have left the party already and are shifting to TDP. This time around, a Rajyasabha MP himself, who was given a nominated post by Jagan has expressed his disgust with the party.
YCP’s Rajyasabha MP Mopidevi Venkataramana said he is having to kill his conscience to work as an MP.
“In politics, you have to kill your inner self and conscience to work with a few people and I am doing the same thing now,” Mopidevi said at a meeting in Bapatla on Sunday night.
Mopidevi had been disappointed with Jagan’s method of operation for the last few months and he has publicly expressed his disgust now. This comes right after Mopidevi was sidelined from the Repalle YCP in-charge post and Evuru Ganesh was given the responsibility.
Mopidevi’s comment could either be aimed at Jagna himself or the new in-charge of the Repalle constituency. The fact that this is coming from the a reputed Rajyasabha post holder is catching the attention.
