What Is the Film About?
A lawyer Sapthagiri (Sapthagiri) takes up the most unexpected case against the most prominent lawyer in town Rajpal (Saikumar) to make big in his career that is going nowhere. What is the case about and did he win it, is what we get in the movie.

How Is Saptagiri’s Performance?
Sapthagiri shows considerable improvement when compared to his first outing as a hero. He does his best, but the problem is he lacks the screen presence to carry such a role. It feels out of his league and bigger than him. In the scenes where he has to be challenging a senior artist like Saikumar, he appears weak, both physically as well as acting wise.

Direction by Charan ?
As we all know, Sapthagiri LLB is a remake, a National Award winning one at that. Let’s leave the award aspect aside. The original film was a small movie that had a very poor opening. It became a success, and people talked about it that later resulted in a sequel getting made. The point here is the movie has high engaging content, and any remake that keeps the material intact would be appealing.

Director Charan Lakkakula does precisely what is required. He keeps the narrative engaging whenever following the original. The problems with the movie, whenever it occurs and mostly in the first half, are the commercial add-on’s keeping the Telugu viewers sensibility in mind. The hero introduction and the Dandupalyam batch comedy are terrible additions.

The movie has best emotional moments in the second half towards the climax. The pre-climax and climax are the strength, and they have not been tampered, which makes movie watchable. The performance of individual vital actors is weak, and that is a problem with the casting. Overall, if one doesn’t mind the commercial additions kept for the sake of keeping, there is a movie that can be enjoyed.

Kashish Vohra and Others?
Kashish Vohra has nothing in the movie. Whenever she arrives, there is a song that follows. She suits besides Sapthagiri, but otherwise, she has no presence as an actress. The real meaty roles in the movie are reserved to Saikumar and Siva Prasad playing the judge. The former hits it out of the park with his acting. After a long time, Saikumar is in terrific form. He seems to be relishing doing the part as it offers him great scope to act. It feels as if he is alive and has been craving for such a role. The Siva Prasad playing lawyer is a bad choice, even though he tries his best. There are many mannerisms which he tries to copy from the original, but he falls flat doing them. Gollapudi Maruthi Rao is okay. Shakalaka Shankar is predictable.

Music and Other Departments?
The music by Bulganin is alright, but in the narrative, they are horribly placed. The background score is decent. The cinematography is below par. The editing is okay. Dialogues by Paruchuri Brothers are useful and help the film big time.
