EC Serves Notices To KCR

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), has received a notice from the Election Commission of India (ECI) ahead of the November 30 polls. The notice is in response to KCR’s controversial speech, delivered on October 30 at Banswada,

In his speech at a public event, KCR warned opposition leaders that his party workers could resort to violence. Hence, the ECI has urged KCR to refrain from making derogatory and abusive statements. NSUI Telangana President Venkat Balmoor has filed this complaint and ECI has responded to the same.

The Telangana polls will happen on the 30th of this month.
