
A destructive fire broke out in the Bazaarghat area of Nampally, engulfing four floors of a building. Sadly, seven lives, including two women, were lost due to the thick smoke.
The fire department, utilizing four engines, are actively working to contain the fire and implement relief measures. Women and children were safely evacuated using ladders. The fire originated in a car garage at the ground floor during repairs, escalating rapidly due to the presence of diesel and chemical drums.
Efforts were made to swiftly remove remaining chemical cans, but numerous vehicles succumbed to the flames. Police reported 21 injuries, with eight individuals in critical condition. They are currently receiving treatment at Osmania Hospital.
