Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy To Leave BJP?

BJP Telangana may face a big shock as prominent leader Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy is reportedly on the verge of leaving the party. According to reports, Raj Gopal Reddy is poised to rejoin his former party, the Congress, tomorrow. It is rumoured that he will formally rejoin the Congress in the presence of Rahul Gandhi in Delhi.

Raj Gopal Reddy may contest as a Congress candidate from Munugode in the upcoming Telangana Assembly Elections. Notably, Raj Gopal had previously left the Congress and joined the BJP. He resigned from his MLA position and contested as a BJP candidate in the Munugode by-elections but was defeated by BRS’s candidate, Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy.

Although he hasn’t officially resigned from the BJP, Raj Gopal Reddy has been noticeably absent from the party’s activities for some time now.
