Starting from November 15, Vishakapatnam Airport will be shut at night for runway renovation. Officials have announced that the airport will be non-operational from 9 pm to 8 am daily.

The Chief of Eastern Naval Command (ENC) emphasized the imperative need for nighttime closure to facilitate runway renovation. Additionally, the ENC chief approved the increase in morning flight services. The renovation project is anticipated to span a duration of 4-6 months.
