We live in the social media era, often referred to as the WhatsApp era, where everything, especially in the realms of films and politics, is subjected to scrutiny.
Going by Sandeep Vanga’s latest song idea in the movie “Animal,” even the trolls are giving up on the director’s idea to include a particular shot in the song.
In the song “HUA MAIN,” there is a romantic sequence where the leads, Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, are deeply in love while in the air aboard a flight. In this scene, Ranbir is shown wearing only a towel and brushing his teeth in the flight cockpit.
What’s more, Ranbir then asks Rashmika to take over the controls of the flight while he goes to the bathroom on the plane, wearing only a towel. Nervously, Rashmika takes over control of the flight mid-air.
It is surprising to see young director like Sandeep Vanga shooting such scenes, and it raises the question of whether he believes that such extremes are necessary for his film’s success.
