A 26-year-old bank employee was found out to be a serial laptop thief. She was arrested by the Bengaluru police when one of the victims’ complained about the theft of her laptop.
Reportedly, the convicted woman resigned from her job last year and turned out to be a serial thief. She used to steal the laptops of women staying at her PG in Bengaluru. She used to vacate the PG and go back to her hometown Noida to sell those laptops. Later, she would shift to another PG after coming back to Bengaluru and continue her thefts.
According to the reports, the lady used to wait for her mates in the PG to go for a meal. When they stepped out, she used to steal their expensive items.
It is heard that she stole around 24 laptops worth Rs. 10 lakhs across various PGs and IT companies in Bengaluru. Finally, she was arrested by the police on March 26 when a victim filed a complaint against her.
