Bengaluru Techie Fired For Saying This?

Bengaluru Techie Fired

After posting a critical tweet on the status of the tech business on Twitter, a programmer from Bengaluru was quickly fired the next day. Just one day after voicing his worries about his future on social media, Jishnu Mohan, a software developer at Forma (previously Twic), was laid off on February 8. According to Money Control, he lost his job for merely publishing thoughts on X.

A major restructuring of Forma’s IT division resulted in Mohan’s dismissal. Mohan posted on Twitter to share his news and look for work prospects, despite his initial concerns about recessionary patterns. He received answers from many people who gave leads and support.

The tech sector is going through hard times, as seen by the layoffs that big companies like Microsoft, Google, and Meta are making. The parent company of Snap announced a 10% reduction in staff worldwide. While Wipro fires hundreds of mid-level staff to boost profit margins, Google fires 1,000 people to cut money for expansion.

Mid-level executives are the main target audience for this movement, particularly those who work onsite. Amazon is also reducing expenses by laying off employees in its health departments in a new wave of layoffs. The tech business has several obstacles, which are highlighted by its fast changes.
