Imagine struggling for your own life while trying to save that of dozens others. The opportunity to act brave can be provided to us in the most unprecedented situations. However, at times some people act out of selflessness to the extent that they sacrifice their own life for others. A bus driver in Odisha died after suffering a heart attack on duty but managed to save the life of the 60 passengers on board.
The incident took place in the Balasore district of Odisha. The bus was carrying tourists from West Bengal and was heading towards a temple in Balasore. According to the witnesses, the driver tried to stop the bus as soon as he felt pain.
The local people took the driver to the nearest hospital after he lost consciousness. The hospital declared the man brought dead. The police were also informed about the incident.
According to one of the passengers, the bus driver fainted as soon as he stopped and parked the bus on the side of the road. His heroic act saved the lives of 60 passengers. Sadly for the driver’s family, he wasn’t lucky enough to survive the day.
