Such is the consensus about the affordability of South Delhi residence in the national capital.
The co-founder and CEO of MobiKwik, Bipin Preet Singh, recently revealed in an interview that he had to shift his residence from South Delhi because it was too expensive. According to the tech leader, he shifted to Dwarka in order to obtain more affordable housing.
Paying rent and affording the cost of startup was getting a little out of hand for him therefore he decided to shift to Dwarka which offers slightly less expensive housing. The famous South Delhi proved to be costly even for the rich.
It is not just the cost of housing that makes South Delhi an area beyond the reach of commoners but also the overall cost of living in the region. It carries itself an expensive aura that the residents are forced to maintain in order to feel included.
