IndiGo, the largest airline in India. Claims to be a low cost flight service provider. But is it so?
On 6th March, 2024, a young woman posted a photo of flight number “6E 6465”, where we can see that the seat cushions are missing from its place.
A young woman named Yavanika Raj Shah, shared the photo over Twitter (X), and wrote “Beautiful @indiGo6E – I do hope I land safely”. She was travelling from Bengaluru to Bhopal.
We have to admit the fact that facing such problems from an airline like IndiGo is a big ruckus.
But in response to that lady’s post IndiGo replied that the cushions of the seats were taken for cleaning purposes, as it is the standard practice for cleaning.The cabin crew notified the passengers beforehand as well. They also added that, IndiGo is committed to provide the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene to their passengers.
The post got more than 5000 likes within 12 hours. People commented on the post criticising the airline by making fun of it.
