Taylor Swift announced on her social media that her eleventh album is coming in a couple of months, on 19 April. The album is titled ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ and appears to be a new era for Taylor, as most of her albums had been. Along with the poster of the album, she shared a handwritten note, that might be one of the verses from a song. The highlight of that note was ‘All’s fair in love and poetry’.
Taylor announced it just after her previous album ‘Midnights’ won album of the year at the 66th Grammy Award. With this win, she became the first and only performer to win Album of the Year four times. Her previous wins include Fearless (2010), 1989 (2016) and Folklore (2021).
This announcement has taken over the internet and fans are expressing their love and anticipation for this new album. Fans may get a few singles before the album drops.
