Bhopal has been facing significant challenges recently due to the tragic fire burst incident in Harda, leading to numerous lives being affected. Many lost their lives when a fire erupted in a cracker factory. Another heartbreaking incident involved the loss of an innocent child’s life.
As the fire broke out, everyone was busy protecting their loved ones. 9yrs old Ashish, on his way to school when the fire occurred, began searching for his disabled father trapped in the blast. His father ran a pan shop near the factory.
While rescuing his father from the fiery situation, Ashish sustained injuries to his hands. Although his father was eventually saved, he succumbed to injuries in the hospital.
The death toll has reached 13, including Ashish. His father remains in critical condition along with 21 others. While such catastrophic incidents pose a threat, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) has requested a report on the factory’s security failure. It is advised to implement improved safety measures in such plants.
