A software engineer committed suicide after his wife left him. He jumped into Hussain Sagar and died by drowning. The techie was identified as Sitaram.
Sitaram belonged to Markapuram in Andhra Pradesh. He was married to a woman in Nandyal. Sitaram was residing with his wife in Bachupally for some time.
However, on January 24, his wife left him leaving behind their two children. An agitated Sitaram filed a police case. Following the complaint, his in-laws too went away to Nandyal taking the two children.
Sitaram was severely disturbed and jumped into Hussain Sagar and committed suicide. However, before dying, Sitaram put up a Whatsapp status saying that he was committing suicide due to the treatment meted out by his wife and in-laws.
After receiving the news, HYDRAA DRF members fished out Sitaram’s body and it was sent for post mortem to Osmania General Hospital. The police filed a case and are investigating the matter.
