Of late, Infosys Founder Narayana Murthy has been making it to the headlines quite often. Whether it’s his statements about increasing work hours for employees or the huge property share he gifted to his grandson, Narayana Murthy has been regularly featured in the news for various reasons.

According to the latest reports, he bought a luxury apartment worth Rs. 50 crores at UB City’s Kingfisher Towers in Bengaluru. This 8400 square foot flat is located on the 16th floor of the building. It is Narayana Murthy’s second property in the Kingfisher Towers.

It was stated that Narayana Murthy bought the flat from a Mumbai-based businessman. The deal was reportedly set at a price of Rs. 59,500 per square foot.

The flat has four bedrooms and five dedicated car parking spaces. Reportedly, it is one of the most expensive residential property deals in Bengaluru in recent times.

Narayana Murthy bought his first flat in the same Kingfisher Towers back in 2020. He bought it under the name of his wife, Sudha Murthy. This flat, worth Rs. 29 crores, is located on the 23rd floor.

Kingfisher Towers is a luxury residential complex in Bengaluru. It has 34 floors and around 81 apartments, each starting at 8000 square feet. It was built on a 4.5-acre plot and consists of three buildings.

The land was Vijay Mallya’s ancestral property. It was developed in 2010 through a partnership between the Prestige Group and Mallya’s company. When first sold, the apartments were priced at Rs. 22,000 per square foot.
