Disney has reported that it has recorded the highest ever viewership for the first 10 matches of the league. According to the Broadcaster Audience Research Council(BARC), more than 350 million viewers watched the matches this year. More than 8000 crore minutes of watch time has been recorded in these matches.
There has been an increase of 20% in the number of minutes watched as compared to last year. The broadcast is no longer limited to English and Hindi commentary and viewers can now enjoy watching the game in their own language as well. This has given a boost to viewership.
