According to a popular instant delivery app based company, condoms were sold 4 times more than an average Wednesday. The same statistics show a higher than ever demand for personal massagers. Other items that were high on demand were hand-cuffs and lipsticks.
It is usually expected that sales of such items are going to be high around valentine’s day. However, apps like Blinkit now provide a better insight at these sales.
The app also saw a huge increase in sales of chocolates and teddy bears. On Wednesday, more teddy bears were sold in a day than ever. Roses and flowers can’t be ignored on the day of love either. Surprisingly, a large portion of these sales were gift orders.
