An influencer from Delhi did something that no one could imagine or even if one did, they would not try it.
A video has gone viral where one man is seen walking around a Delhi police barricade for the effects in his reel. The guy captioned his reel with something that roughly translates to ‘We aren’t scared of anyone, because we are Jaat.’ He used the burning barricade to enforce the importance of his words or what no one knows.
As soon as the video went live, people started tagging Delhi police and police responded with haste given it shows clear vandalism of public property and acting as if police does not exist.
Reels have created a havoc in society where the ones who watch it lose their time while the ones making it try all the new kind of things to stay relevant given the monetary benefits that comes with it and the added illusion of social superiority among their peers.
This is one among the many such incidents where people have tried to defy law and order for the purpose of social media fame. Some other examples include the so called influencers trying to evade toll taxes just because they have a few hundred thousand followers on Instagram.
Incidents like these could stop only with civic responsibility.
