Tech giant Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has brought in a new regulation that could directly affect work-from-home (WFH) employees and benefit those who are working from the office.
The company has announced that the employees who are working from the TCS offices will be assessed for salary hikes and additional bonuses. This has raised doubt if TCS has meant that WFH employees who are reluctant about coming to offices will not be eligible for the said benefits.
This is a part of the return-to-office program that the company had mandated recently. TCS intends to have all of its workforce back in the offices and their latest announcement on hikes and bonuses implies the same.
The company has gone on to add the hikes and bonuses will be given based on the track record, work rate, and the results generated by the employee.
Freshers will have to complete the courses and clear the exams successfully if they are to get over Rs 3 lakh-per-annum package from the company.
