The world’s largest adult site company, Pornhub, is in serious trouble. The parent company of Pornhub has admitted that they benefited significantly from sex trafficking. The news has sparked controversy, leading people to appeal for a ban on this porn site.
Aylo Holdings, the Montreal-based company, issued a notice addressing all the women whose pictures were shared on the platform without monitoring, stating that they would be compensated. This notice has raised many questions, such as why the company didn’t acknowledge this earlier if they knew about it from the beginning. Many argue that if the company had acted sooner, many women could have been saved from harm.
The company has been convicted of the crime and fined 1.8 million. While some are satisfied with the fine, others believe that the actual number of victims could be much higher than what has been revealed. They argue that the adult industry can easily engage in shady business practices under a popular brand. Please share your opinion on this matter.
