Jindal University recently made headlines when a professor at the institution was revealed to have used dating app profiles as part of their teaching methodology. The Haryana police have filed an FIR in response to a complaint from Renu Bhatia, the Chairperson of the Haryana Women’s Commission.
A video depicting Professor Dalwai compromising the privacy of students by employing fake accounts and displaying obscene materials during a lecture went viral, sparking outrage on social media. The Chief Officer stated that they would be taking the necessary steps to address the matter.
Renu Bhatia, who filed the complaint, aimed to draw attention to the seriousness of the incident, criticizing the professor’s inappropriate use of a dating app during a lecture. It is alleged that the professor utilized this approach as an example during a lecture on gender.
